Drew Hicks is the Building Performance Program Manager based at MacDonald- Miller Facility Solutions, where he leads our G2M strategy and initiatives focused on operational excellence and compliance with the Clean Buildings Performance Standard. With over 20 years of experience as a building operator, Drew holds accreditations as a Certified Property Manager and Qualified Energy Manager. His strong background in building operations and systems enables him to drive performance improvements across facilities and align strategic goals with compliance requirements. He is a frequent speaker at industry events, inspiring
audiences and empowering customers to embrace the future of building performance standards with confidence and enthusiasm.

Sustainability and Decarbonization Lead

Nicola Karp is the Sustainability and Decarbonization Lead at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions. The Sustainable Design Team at MacMiller integrates sustainable design approaches into design-build work, and provides energy modeling and MEP engineering consulting services to make buildings more efficient, reliable and sustainable. Nicola’s career spans economic and natural resources policy in Western Australia to industrial decarbonization and technology development for heavy vehicle electrification in the mining sector. She’s committed to supporting sustainability and circular economy in the built environment.
