Session: #1 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Session #2 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm

This hands-on session will teach you how to utilize the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) database, Portfolio Manager. It is an essential tool for energy management and energy savings. Workshop participants will set-up the ENERGY STAR benchmarking accounts. They will begin the initial energy performance rating for their building with individual guidance from an experienced benchmarking instructor and technical assistants.

What to bring?
* Option 1: If you would like to benchmark your own building, there is a spreadsheet attached (click here) in this email that you can use to collect the data you will need to set up an account in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, the free on-line benchmarking tool. Be sure to review the data requirements in each tab in the spreadsheet.

* Option 2: We will provide a set of “dummy data” which you can use to set up your account and learn the various tools in Portfolio Manager.

* We also recommend bringing a calculator

Registration fee:

$50 – in advance for IFMA Seattle and/or BOMA SPS members

$65 – in advance for non-members

$75 – at the door

Complimentary light lunch of bagel and beverage included.

Parking:
Parking can be a challenge and it is recommended to arrive early to insure a parking spot.
There are spaces exclusively for carpools, so think about sharing a ride!

1. Take Hwy 167 South toward Kent / Auburn
2. Take the 15th Street NW exit. Turn left onto 15th Street NW.
(15th Street NW becomes Harvey Road.)
3. Turn left onto 8th Street NE. (8th Street NE becomes SE 320th Street.)
(SE 320th Street becomes Lea Hill Road SE.)
4. Turn right onto 105th Place SE.
5. Turn left onto 107th Place SE.
6. 107th Place SE becomes SE 320th Street.

Northbound

1. Take Highway 18 East toward Auburn / North Bend.
2. Take the SE 304th Street exit toward SE 312th Street.
3. Turn right onto SE 304th Street.
(SE 304th Street becomes 132nd Avenue SE.)
4. Stay Straight to go onto 132nd Way SE.
(132nd Way SE becomes SE 312th Street.)
5. Turn left onto 124th Avenue SE.
6. Turn right onto SE 320th Street.
