SAVE THE DATE! The 23rd Education Symposium will be held on June 19, 2019

The Business of Buildings - Investigate, Discover, Predict

A special thanks to our 22nd Annual IFMA Education Symposium Attendees, Sponsors, and Exhibitors for a Fantastic Symposium!

Dearest members and associates,

On behalf of the IFMA Seattle Chapter, we want to thank each one of you who attended the 22nd Annual IFMA Education Symposium. This year's theme highlighted “The Sustainable FM Career" and how facilities employees can address the variety of challenges they face day-to-day and in the long-term. Our Keynote Dr. Dean T Kashiwagi gave us a refreshing and informative perspective on the “Facilities Manager of the Future”. We had a great day jam-packed with experts from different disciplines in our educational, general, and breakout sessions. The presenters provided their knowledge and insight on ergonomics, handling regulatory requirements, disaster preparedness, managing energy costs, workforce training programs, and how to handle data.

Special thanks to our sponsors: CBRE/HEERY, McKinstry, MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions, Northwest Energy Efficiency Council, Snohomish County PUD, University Mechanical Contractors, Inc.

We hope that you found the 22nd Annual IFMA Education Symposium informative and worthwhile. Our primary goal was to increase your understanding of the FM Career and provide introductions and resources that will support your Facilities Career. Please keep your eyes out for a save the date for the 2019 Symposium. We will be dedicating more time for attendees to interact and network at the tradeshow, and offer educational sessions based on feedback received from you this year.
